The Apostolic charge to Souls Harvest

Embrace the Vision: To be a 21st century Book of Acts Church in Principle, Practice and Power. [destination]

Live the Mission: To provide connection for all people to Jesus Christ through Prayer, Worship, Discipleship and Fellowship. [vehicle] Fellowship, Relationship, Discipleship

Knowing that the time is late and that the return of Jesus is soon; it is our duty to preach the Gospel that when obeyed is applied by participating in the New Birth by being born again of the water and the Spirit (John 3, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:44-48). This is the Great Commission from Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-50, Acts 1:8).

Acts 2:38 declares that we are to repent, be baptized by immersion in the only saving name of Jesus for the remission of sins and receive the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of a heavenly language which is the rest we enter into (Acts 4:12, Isaiah 28:10-12). These and other accounts in Acts fulfill the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-19 and Luke 24:47-49.

This Pentecostal experience brings to us the revelation of who Jesus is in Isaiah 9:6 that the child born, the son given is the mighty God, the everlasting Father as confirmed in Matthew 1:21-23, a Saviour, call His name Jesus, He being Immanuel, God with us.  John 1:1-14 declares Jesus to be the Word made flesh.

We concur with the Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 3:16 that “ God was manifest in the flesh ’ ‘to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). These continued truths reflect Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

Concerning our redeemed identity and holiness lifestyle writes Titus, 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Upon this doctrinal foundation we will continue and believe that the Lord Jesus has called us together for the purpose of sowing seed which is the Word of God for all nations in St. Cloud and beyond (Hebrews 6:1-2).

•1 Corinthians 12:18 God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him.

The 4 pillars of the continuing believer/Church

•Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Ministry develops out of the relationships God intends for His Church. Every maturing believer should be growing in three relationships: (2 Timothy 2:24-25)

1.our relationship with God through worship and trust;

2.our relationship with fellow believers through love, edification, and accountability; and

3.our relationship with unbelievers, conveying the gospel message in word and deed to the end that they would become disciples of Christ.

oEach one, Reach one.

oGo, Preach, Baptize, Teach.

oFellowship (Hebrews 10:25)

oRelationship (Acts 2:42)

oDiscipleship (John 15:16)

oCovenant Membership

We are a Ministry where sheep are fed (John 21:17); people grow (Hebrews 6:1), relationships prosper (Ephesians 5:28-33) and true wealth is attained (Deuteronomy 28:1-6).

We believe in God's plan for marriage (Genesis 2:24), being born again (John 3:5, Acts 2:38); separation from sin (2 Corinthians 6:17-18) and Jesus as the only Savior (John 14:6, Colossians 2:8-9).

We don't compare to or judge others (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Corinthians 10:12), but believe the Bible should be our sole source, guide for living and authority (Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3:16). (from Tabernacle of Hope, Tampa)
